Hatch employs approximately 1000 personnel in South Africa and operates from four regions with six principal offices in Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape and Western Cape. These offices are supplemented by regional satellite and project based offices in various centres throughout Africa.

We recruit graduates who have completed their Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Structural, Mechatronics, Industrial, Computer Engineering.
We also recruit Quantity Survey, Metallurgy, Construction and Environmental graduates.

Hatch does not have a structured Graduate Programme. We employ graduates on a permanent contract. Professional Development Programme (PDP) is focused on to the development of young engineers to a level of personal and technical proficiency that they can act responsibly, independently and professionally in accordance with the standing of their profession.
Graduates will be assigned Mentors through the PDP Programme. There are regular meetings between Mentor and Mentee to determine the requirements towards ECSA professional registration.
We require an average of 65%.
